MyAquarium collaborated with the Department of Hydrobiology and Aquaculture of the Agricultural University of Athens to renovate part of its experimental tank facilities.
Based on the specifications of the existing system, a detailed study was conducted to ensure that the renovation would not significantly disrupt the continuous operation of the laboratory, while also avoiding large-scale structural changes to the aquariums.
As part of the project, obsolete systems were removed and new equipment was installed. To improve water quality and reduce the concentration of cellular algae and pathogenic bacteria, a UV sterilization system was integrated. Additionally, to maintain a stable and controlled temperature, a new temperature controller was selected and installed.
