The owner company of the luxury Cavo Tagoo hotels chose myaquarium to construct the aquarium bar at Cavo Tagoo Mykonos, with a total length of 12 meters and a total system capacity of 7 tons.
Spatially, the purpose of the aquarium is twofold, as it serves as the bar in the hotel’s outdoor lounge area and simultaneously acts as a divider between the All-Day Café Lounge and the Night Bar. The filtration system was constructed and operates on a separate level of the hotel, specifically in the basement.
The size of the aquarium and the challenging access to the installation site did not allow its construction at our company’s premises and subsequent transportation to the hotel. Therefore, it was decided to construct the aquarium at its operational site in Cavo Tagoo Mykonos. For this reason, in addition to designing and construction planning, an additional study was conducted to ensure the correct segmented transfer of its components to avoid errors, as any mistakes would have been detrimental to the strict schedule.
