The four-meter-long coral reef aquarium was constructed in a private seaside residence in Athens. High-quality ExtraClear glass panels with a thickness of 19mm were used for its construction. In addition, the architectural elements of the building were suitably modified, with particular attention given to the successful concealment of a column.
The aquarium, visible from all four sides, takes center stage in a space filled with abundant light and a maritime ambiance, while simultaneously providing the unique sensation of being underwater.
To support the aquarium, a specially designed and developed filtration system was installed on a lower floor of the building.
